Products

The working partnership of Master Dental Technicians Martina Mehlitz-Krause and Udo Ridder brings together two of the most important disciplines in modern dental technology. All-ceramics and implantology meet in the highly specialised field of fitting all-ceramic restorations to implants.

A more detailed look at our main areas of focus:

Implantology and custom abutments

Udo Ridder’s main specialisation is in implant prosthetics, an area in which he has gathered a great deal of knowledge and experience. Before he joined Mehlitz & Ridder Dentaltechnik he had already spent more than 14 years establishing the field of implant prosthetics in major dental laboratories while at the same time working with dental practices in a supportive and consultational role.

Today’s patients are well informed about implants
These days, patients are asking about implants more and more frequently. They know that implants offer improved quality of life by giving a natural feel in the mouth combined with the best possible aesthetics and high levels of biocompatibility.

In 2003, around 150,000 patients had over 300,000 implants fitted in Germany alone. Nowadays, most patients are fairly well informed about the “artificial roots” through dental magazines. They are aware that implants are surgically set into the jawbone, which then grows around the implant forming a very strong bond. They often know that the implant posts and implant heads together are also known as abutments, and that fixed and/or removable prosthetic teeth are either screwed or cemented onto them. We offer you, the dentist, everything you need to provide optimal implant treatment for your patients. We work with all prevalent systems and are able to meet the widest range of requests.

Only the best materials
We manufacture both titanium and ceramic implants or implants made from a combination of the two. For ceramic implants, we use zirconium oxide, which, besides its unsurpassed biocompatibility, has proven to be exceptionally long lasting. And zirconium oxide is the first choice when it comes to aesthetics, especially when all-ceramic prosthetic teeth are being used. This allows light to penetrate right into the artificial root.

Perfect supraconstruction
Manufactured to the highest possible level of perfection:

  • Fixed prostheses on implants – for example crowns and bridges, preferably all-ceramic
  • Removable prostheses on implants. With our high precision restorations, made using the latest high tech production equipment, we are able to cover the full range of indications.

All-ceramics

Zirconium oxide – for particularly demanding restorations

One of Master Dental Technician Martina Mehlitz-Krause’s primary specialisations is in the field of aesthetic ceramics.

More and more people are choosing highly aesthetic all-ceramic dental prostheses. In 2004, around 1.9 million all-ceramic inlays, crowns and bridges were fitted in Germany alone.

Specialist expertise + latest high tech equipment = best possible treatment
Our exceptionally high level of specialist expertise in all-ceramics has been gained over many years of experience in the field. To complement this, our laboratory is fitted out with the very latest high tech production equipment.

Our state-of-the-art CAD/CAM systems guarantee both extremely high precision – higher than would be achievable working purely manually – and high production speed.

We are working towards all-ceramic dental prostheses becoming more and more the norm. The best treatment at an affordable price.
