With a full denture, you can once again laugh, chew and speak clearly
Laugh, chew, swallow, speak clearly – a full denture can give you back a great deal of lost quality of life.
Nowadays, having no remaining natural teeth certainly doesn’t mean you have to put up with reduced quality of life. Our advanced technologies and tried and tested high tech materials mean that we can make full dentures for the upper and/or lower jaw that are as comfortable, secure and great-looking as you want them to be. You might even find that your new teeth look better than the originals! And if you weren’t happy with the way your teeth used to look, bear in mind that you will be able to choose the most aesthetically pleasing form for the teeth in your full denture, as well as the colour that suits you best. The possibilities are many and varied. And if you want your teeth to look just like they used to, then it would be very helpful to provide some facial photos in order to give your dentist and us an overall visual impression to work with.
Alternatives for full dentures
With a full denture, you can choose from the following:
- You might decide on a conventional removable denture, which is held in place using suction effect. For the upper jaw, a denture plate will be used to increase the suction effect. (There is not enough space in the lower jaw for a large plate of this kind). If the gums of the lower jaw have shrunk, it is still possible to provide secure anchoring points for the prosthesis: using implants.
- Or you might choose the extra convenience and dependability of a full denture fitted to implants. The denture will then feel as secure in the mouth as natural teeth. In the upper jaw, for example, the advantages of a removable full denture, firmly attached with implants are:
- No denture plate (with four or more implants).
- Better feeling in the mouth.
- Increased comfort.
- Improved sense of taste.
